Hello there! My name is Jane Bowden, and I'm a journalist and content creator based in New Jersey. I studied journalism and interactive multimedia at The College of New Jersey.

My articles and personal essays have been featured on The Signal, The Mighty, Unique Homes Magazine and Medium.

I've developed content for clients involved in real estate, fitness and personal training, healthcare and more. This includes blog posts, social media posts, ad copy, website copy and newsletters.

This year, I won two New Jersey Press Association awards in its 2019-2020 College Newspaper Contest — third place in Feature Writing for "Eating disorders affect everyone, regardless of size" and third place for Column/Opinion Writing for "Everyone has mental health — everyone can see a therapist" and "Community college deserves more respect."

In my spare time, I write for my mental health and personal discovery blog, Your Friend Jane, which I started in 2016. I'm also a big fan of going to the beach, walking around local shops and walking my dog, Maggie.
